Many of my friends are runners and track their mileage in apps such as Strava. However, there are people who wear running shoes for better support when walking OR may not remember to track. Similar to how Brita pitchers have a filter lifespan indicator, what if shoes had the same experience? If it was build in / on the shoe, then no extra tracking would be required and regular wear of the shoe would count towards mileage as well.
